Educational Videos for the Transplant Community

The American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) has created three 30 minute educational videos for potential kidney or liver donors and recipients. The videos feature either an actual recipient or donor who shares their experience for those considering donation or transplantation as treatment for kidney or liver disease as well as what to expect from each member of the transplant team.
These specialized videos are meant to be utilized as a first step in educating the potential donor and recipient before the initial clinic visit. Transplant teams are encouraged to send candidates the video to watch with family members (and friends), before the visit so they can subsequently come to the appointment with any remaining questions.
